The Worked All Malaysian Award (WAMA) is issued by the Malaysian Amateur Radio Transmitters’ Society (MARTS) to recognize radio amateurs and SWLs who successfully contact or hear stations from all major regions of Malaysia.
This award is also highly suitable for 9M2 SOTA activators and chasers who engage in portable operations or hunt for summits across different Malaysian states. If you've been active in 9M2 Summits on the Air, you may already have many qualifying QSOs!
To qualify for the award, you must confirm QSOs with:
✅ Ten (10) stations from Peninsular Malaysia (West Malaysia)
✅ One (1) station from Sabah
✅ One (1) station from Sarawak
📅 All contacts must be made on or after August 31, 1957.
WAMA endorsements are available based on the following:
Bands (single-band only): All amateur bands
Modes: CW, AM, SSB, FM, SSTV, Digital, ATV, FAX
Satellite: QSOs made via amateur satellites
QRP: Transmitter power of 5 watts or less
QSL cards are not required. Acceptable confirmation includes:
Printed eQSL cards
LoTW confirmations
Other verifiable contact evidence
